Microsoft has announced that they’ll be shipping VisualStudio with the jQuery library bundled in. Great news for the guys over at jQuery.com.

According to InfoWorld, Microsoft will be shipping the default jQuery package in Visual Studio from here on out, and they “will not be forking or changing the source from the main jQuery branch.” Yay, everyone wins.

And the free software dork in me was particularly happy about this line:

The files will continue to use and ship under the existing jQuery MIT license.

Score one for open source :-) Oh, UCLA has found a 13-million-digit prime number. While this is cool, I can’t help but wonder, “how is this even useful?”
