I too hope we can get some regular testing (working on at least a syntax checker now) integrated to the development lifecycle. It will certainly ease the QA process, that's for sure. I remember when it was just random stuff on Meta. A huge improvement on those days. The wikitech discussion on testing and documentation also gives me a lot of hope.
